Timelines

I recommend my clients who are seeking standard bridal alterations (Dresses within two sizes of their size) be fitted about 6-8 weeks before their wedding/or departure date.  That way weight fluctuation isn't as much of an issue. Then my clients can pick up 2 weeks before their wedding/departure date. That way there is not enough time for significant weight loss or gain, and your dress not fit perfectly. However, it allows enough time if you were to  need any adjustments.

Depending on the amount of work your dress needs, you can expect 2-3 fittings total.

Prom alterations and  bridesmaids can be  fitted anywhere between 3-4 weeks before date of event. Unless you have significant amount of re-sizing, you shouldn't need more than the initial fitting.

Location

I work out of my home in Kannapolis, NC. About 15 minutes from downtown Moorseville and 15 minutes from downtown Kannapolis.
Exact address will be sent before your initial fitting.

We have a small space, but 3-5 guests are welcome. Please let me know ahead of time if you will be bringing guests so I can be prepared to accomodate.

Bridal Pricing

It is not my goal to be the least expensive seamstress, but its important to me that my clients receive transparent and fair pricing. I understand that alterations and their prices are not common knowledge to most people; therefore, I walk my clients through the various options available to them during their fittings. A final amount is given at the end of every first consult with a breakdown of what each alteration costs.

Each gown is priced per task and how long it takes to complete each task. On average my brides have spent between $650-$750 for standard alterations, such as taking in/letting out, hem, bustle, and adjusting their straps. Now, keep in mind that how the gown is constructed, the amount of beading/lace, and the overall amount of alterations desired will all impact your price.

Some examples of Item pricing:

Adding support to gowns: $150+

Sewn in high quality cups: $30

Lace Hems/all layers underneath: $250-300

Custom work such as adding sleeves, re-sizing gowns multiple sizes, repairing damage are all possible but it is best to contact me regarding pricing information on these specific projects as they vary greatly in price.

I offer in person consults for a non-refundable fee of $50 or can give you an estimate through message form by either email or text. I need atleast three pictures of you in your gown. Front, back and side view are ideal. Same goes for Bridesmaids and Prom.

Booking Fees: I require a $100 non-refundable retainer fee. This fee is non-refundable, but it does get deducted from your final alterations invoice.

Fitting/Service Fee: There is a $150 service/fitting fee added on to every bridal ticket and a $50 service/fitting fee added to every formal ticket. This fee covers all communication and fittings that will be required to fit your gown. It is a separate charge from materials and sewing labor.

Payments:  preferable payment method is Cash but we also accept Check, Zelle or Venmo
